Description:
IS420UCSBH1A is GE Mark VI series controller module. The controller boards/modules are located in the control module. The controller used depends on the system configuration. The UCSB controller is a stand-alone, single-board controller with scalable processing power. It requires 18-32 V dc (12.5W typical) power, no fans, no batteries, and no jumper settings. It performs the bridge firing circuit control, I/Oprocessing, and peer-to-peer communications with the other controllers, Ethernet communications with turbine control,Static Starter and HMI, and runs inner and outer loop control functions. The UCSB controller is available in two platform configurations: UCSBH1A and UCSBH4A. IS420UCSBH1A can be used in certian specified hazardous locations.
The Mark VIeS UCSBSIA Safety controller and Safety I/O modules are used for functional safety loops to achieve SIL 2 and 3 capabilities. Mark VIeS Safety equipment is used by operators knowledgeable in safety-instrumented system (SIS) applications to reduce risk in critical safety functions. Safety controllers and distributed I/O modules are programmed specifically for safety control use, and this specific control hardware and software has IEC 61508 certification.
