8440-1706 is designed as a microprocessor-based synchronizer, manufactured by Woodward. It is LSXR package with 100 Vac PT measuring inputs and 5A CT measuring inputs.  It delivers automatic frequency, phase and voltage matching, integrating circuit‑breaker synchronisation, isochronous load sharing, power factor control and built‑in generator protection.
