Description:
DVC6200HC is a digital valve controller manufactured by Fisher. It is a communicating, microprocess- based current‐to‐pneumatic instrument. DVC6200HC can convert the input current signal to a pneumatic output pressure, as well as using the HART communications protocol to get the information critial to the process operation easily. You can get information from the process’s main component—the control valve itself—using a handheld communicator directly at the valve, at a field junction box, or via a personal computer or operator’s console in the control room.There is also an optional feature that supplies isolated circuitry for a valve position transmitter, which provides independent valve position feedback, or an integrated switch that can be configured to act as either a limit switch or an alarm switch.

Diagnostic information is available to aid you when troubleshooting. Input and output configuration parameters can be set, and the digital valve controller can be calibrated. There are 4 types of diagnostic lever, HC, AD, PD and ODV.

Using the HART protocol, information from the field can be integrated into control systems or be received on a single loop basis. The DVC6200 digital valve controller is designed to directly replace standard pneumatic and electro‐pneumatic valve mounted positioners.
