IS200TDBTH2ACD is part of GE MKVIE series Discrete Input/Output terminal board, which can be used with Discrete I/O pack IS220PDIOH1A. Both of I/O pack and terminal board are approved for use in hazardous locations.
Signal flow begins with a sensor connected to a terminal block on a board. There are two types of boards available. T-type boards contain two 24 point, barrier-type, removable, terminal blocks. Each point can accept two 3.0 mm2 (#12AWG) wires with 300 V insulation per point with spade or ring type lugs. In addition, captive clamps are provided for terminating bare wires. Screw spacing is 9.53 mm (0.375 inch) minimum, center-to-center.
A shield strip is provided next to each block, which is actually the left-hand side of the metal base where the board is mounted. Wide and narrow boards are arranged in vertical columns of high and low-level wiring that can be accessed from top and/or bottom cable entrances. An example of a wide board is a board that contains magnetic relays with fused circuits for solenoid drivers. T-type boards are normally surface mounted, but can also be DIN-rail mounted.
IS200TDBTH2A is GE Mark VI control system TMR contact input/output terminal board designed for DIN-rail or flat mounting. IS200TDBTH2A accepts 24 group isolated contact inputs that are supplied with a nominal 24, 48, or 125 V dc wetting voltage from an external source. The contact inputs have noise suppression to protect against surge and high-frequency noise. It provides 12 form-C relay outputs and accepts an option card to expand relay functions.
IS200TDBTH2A use with GE Mark VIe PDIO I/O pack. 3 pcs of PDIO packs plug into D-type connectors and communicate with the controllers over Ethernet. Three connection points for PDIO are provided. With TMR controllers one network connection is provided to each PDIO leading to the respective controller. IS200TDBTH2A is not designed to operate correctly with a single PDIO I/O pack.
