1 YearWhen paired with safety-related transmitters, the module supports two adjustable limit values for two independent analog circuits; with redundant operating transmitters, two limit values are adjustable per module. For requirement class 6 (where dedicated safety-related transmitters are often unavailable), two transmitters at the same measuring point enable comparison of analog values against preset differences in value and time, with a common alarm signal output for exceeded value differences.
The module can record the analog value rate-of-change (gradient) over a user-adjustable time period and assign corresponding limit values for monitoring.
Short-circuit proof outputs are configurable with preset parameters: limit value/rate-of-change (gradient), hysteresis, trigger direction, and optional line diagnosis (monitoring output circuit lines for short-circuits and wire breaks). Safety-related limit monitor outputs may be connected in parallel to enhance operational availability.
An LCD on the front panel displays digitized analog values of both channels as percentage values with 0.1% resolution. Illuminated frames around corresponding icons indicate active (1-signal) outputs; flashing icons signal line breaks or short-circuits in output circuits.
Programming is completed via five front-panel push buttons and the integrated LCD, requiring no additional devices or PC-based special software. For safety, parameter changes are disabled during operation, while preset parameters remain select able and viewable via the front-panel push buttons during runtime.
