Recently, our company received the offers about CS513(3BSE000435R1) and CS513AK01(3BSE091971R1). Both of them are ABB Advant Controller 450 MasterBus 300/300E Communication Modules, what's the difference?

CS513 manufactured date earlier than CA513AK01. It is discontinued. CA513AK01 is in the limit life cycle phase since July 1th, 2025. The communication module CS513 can communicate via one MasterBus 300, MasterBus 300E or GCOM bus, depending on the protocol specified with its Sl DIP switch.

From the front panel, the interface is different, CS513 is Attachment Unit Interface(AUI), IEEE 802.3 LAN-Module. CS513A is RJ-45 Communication Interface. CS513 is for ethernet connectivity, CS513AK01 is for Fieldbus/Master bus.
