GE IS200VCMIH2B Communication Board
Description:
IS200VCMIH2B is GE Mark V system Communication board. IS200VCMIH2B in the control and interface module communicates internally to the l/O boards in its rack, and to the other IS200VCMIH2B boards through the lONet. There are two versions, one with one Etheret lONet port for simplex systems, and the other with thred Ethernet ports for TMR systems. Simplex systems have one control module connected to one or more interface modules using a single cable. The VCMl with three separate lONetports is used in TMR systems for communication with the three l/O channels Rx, Sx, and Tx. and with the two other control modules. 
Software lmplemented Fault Tolcrance (SlFT) voting is implemented in the IS200VCMIH2B board. Input data from each of the lONet connections is voted in cach of the R, S, and T IS200VCMIH2B boards. The results are passed to the control signal database in the controllers (labeled UCVx in the diagram) through the backplane VME bus.
