Description:
IQS450 204-450-000-002 is designed to meet the requirements of measure the relative vibration and axial position of rotating machine shafts, which is based on the eddy-current technology. IQS450 is made of injection-moulded aluminium. The conditioner circuitry is ounted in it. Compatible with the proximity transducer TQ402, TQ402 and TQ403. IQS450 support the system length from 5 m to 10 m. Together with the TQ403 proximity transducer and EA403 extension cable, they forms the proximity measurement system. IQS450 approved by the protection EX, such as EC, IECEx, cCSAus, KGS and more, it can be worked in the hazadours locations.

Operation Principle of the Proximity Measurement System:
The tip of the proximity transducer contains a coil, forming part of an oscillating circuit. When this is excited by a high frequency signal provided by the IQS 45x signal conditioner, a magnetic field is emitted by the coil. If an electrically conducting material is moved into this field, the characteristics of the magnetic circuit change. This causes the amplitude of the high-frequency signal present in the coil to vary. The amplitude is proportional to the distance between the tip of the transducer and the target.
