The IS200DSPXH1B Digital Signal Processor Control Board (DSPX) serves as the primary controller for bridge operations, motor regulator functions, and gating systems in Innovation Series drives. It also manages generator field control capabilities for EX2100 exciters, while delivering core logic processing and interface functionality.

The board incorporates a high-performance digital signal processor (DSP), standard memory components, and an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) engineered to handle custom logic tasks.

Specialized features of the DSPX board are enabled through custom logic implemented in Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) or ASICs, paired with any necessary supporting circuitry. Notably, the majority of specialized and auxiliary functions are consolidated within a single ASIC for streamlined operation.
